Cairns Surf Life Saving Club is inviting the community to get active and experience the fun side of surf sports at the upcoming Fastest on Sand – Come & Try event.
Taking place on 22 March at Yorkeys Knob, this free event is open to everyone – no membership required. Whether you’re keen to test your speed or just looking for a fun day out, it’s the perfect opportunity to get involved.
Participants can try a range of classic beach events including sprints, flags, and relays, all in a relaxed and welcoming environment. It’s a great chance to bring a friend, meet club members, and see firsthand what surf lifesaving is all about.
The Join the Club marquee will be set up on the day for anyone interested in learning more about membership and pathways into lifesaving. A shared lunch will also be held on site, giving everyone a chance to connect and enjoy the day together.
Everyone is welcome, so come along, hit the sand, and have some fun.
